Software Engineering betrieblicher Informationssysteme |
Alexander Schneider is a research associate at the chair for Software Engineering of Business Information Systems (sebis) at the Technische Universität München since Nov 2011. He holds a master's degree in Information Systems from the Technische Universität München.
His research focuses on the domain of Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM) in particular on complexity science and socio-technical models for its application. As a founder of the CALM3 workshop series he brought together researchers and leading companies to develop advanced models, measures and management techniques to master the complexity of today's application landscapes. The goal of his research is to use the insights provided by complexity science to create a broader understanding of EA problems, propose a necessary paradigm shift and extend the scope of EAM initiatives to account also for behavioral aspects.
