The modern workplace in postindustrial economies is characterized by teamwork and complex projects/tasks. Creativity and innovation are perceived as key success factors in a globalized, highly dynamic market environment.
In order to leverage creative potential of employees, several different creativity techniques have been proposed in the past (e.g. 6 Thinking Hats, Design Thinking, Creative Problem Solving Process, Brainstorming and many more). In alignment with the advancing digitalization, several group creativity support systems have emerged both in academia as well as industry.
The goal of this BSc/MSc thesis is to review the current state-of-the-art in the area of group creativity support in literature and practice (e.g. software support). The student will learn how to find, evaluate and structure information in a systematic way. In addition, the student will learn more about the foundations of creativity research.
