I'm a research associate at the chair of Software Engineering for Business Information Systems (sebis) at the Technische Universität München since June 2016. I hold a master's degree in Computing Science from the Technical University of Munich (TUM).
I like to create stuff and code a lot during my free time - but also during work of course!

Midas is a polystore data system tailored to query heterogeneous data sources. The system allows data scientists and business analysts to seamlessly query internal data stores and external sources from the web, like open data, via SQL. The core of Midas is a graph-based data virtualization layer and a query engine build on the concepts of Google's Dremel, including sophisticated data management and governance features.

hackaTUM
2016, we hosted the first hackathon at the TUM and it was a great success. Our vision is to create one of the largest hackathons in Europe and become a place were established companies and young innovative students can meet and work together on the future. At the TUM, we have a highly sklilled and diverse set of students and a hackathon is the right place to unleash that potential.
If your are interested in sponsoring the event, just contact me! Further information can be found at http://hack.tum.de
